Thirty-five years ago, Pastor Louis Husser saw the need for pastors to be equipped to address the emotional and spiritual challenges people face. This was at a time when Dr. James Dobson was founding Focus on the Family. At this time, seminaries and Christian authors began teaching and publishing the importance of equipping pastors to counsel with a theological approach. Pastor Louis began to successfully use this method in his counseling sessions.
Today, many secular psychologists ignore or dismiss the spiritual aspects of emotional well-being. Pastor Louis believes that the journey of healing begins with identifying the root cause of the problem and then applying a Biblically based, theologically sound approach to healing.
